Update!
Well, hello there you beautiful humans!
It's been a long time since I've written a blog post. I'll admit it. I've been in a little bit of a writing rut. I'd sit in front of my screen and stare at a blank canvas with nothing coming to mind. It made me frustrated and annoyed and I started avoiding my blog knowing I'd just be pissed off after coming up with little to nothing. ANYWAYS!
I'm back, at least for the moment! I just wanted to update everyone on life and I few things I wanted to share with all of you! Let's stat with life!
Well, the holidays are long over! It was definitely exciting to have Addie here to share all of the special traditions and make new memories with! But I'm not gonna sugar coat it, I'm glad they are over. lol
Addie is now a BIG ONE YEAR OLD! What?! I have a freaking one year old? Are you kidding? How did time go by THAT fast? Seriously though. A year? Whew. Her party was great! She had so many people show up here to celebrate her first year of life! Her grandpa and Grandma and Auntie and Cousin Hayden came all the way from Colorado too! What a special day! I had prepared for months for her party and lets just say, things didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped. Decorations were falling down, the cake didn't turn out (thanks to her auntie for bring cake for her!!!), she was grumpy, she wasn't interested in gifts, I ran out of plates for our guests... yeah, this mama was a little overwhelmed. But that's life I suppose, you can never be ready for it. I just can't believe my little babe is a year old.
Now that her party is over, we are focused on our wedding. My life is circling around crafts, pinterest, and making sure our wedding party is happy with our outfit decisions. I never knew how stressful a wedding could get. I'll just leave this little note for whoever is planning on having a wedding soon..... $$$$$$$$$$$. Believe me. I'm not lying. This S#!& gets pricey.
I wanted to share two things with you guys! The first one is this awesome website that I've been a part of for about four years now! It's called Viewbug! It is seriously one of my all time favorite websites. If you're a photographer or you just enjoy snapping some great photos on your phone, you have got to go check it out! There are tons and tons of contests to enter and who doesn't like winning things?! Plus, there are some insanely talented photographers on there that you can admire and talk with. Last, I wanted to share a pillow that I recently bought. Pillo Plush! Ughhh! I can't even begin to tell you how soft and unique it is! You can get one on Amazon. It's a a cute decorative pillow that you can unzip and pull out a blanket! Two in one! And it hides all those blankets that you don't know where to put! Plus, its sooooooo freaking soft!!!
