Hey there! These are easy recipes that any busy mom would LOVE! These are all recipes that I have tried! They are all also Derek approved! 😜

Easy, Cheesy Crockpot Chicken and Rice

This recipe is SUPER easy! Derek and I both enjoy it! It's a simple and filling dinner for cheap! If you are like me, this dinner is a win because it takes very little effort. That's great after a long day! Enjoy, and let me know if you try it!

Ingredients:

Throw all of these into your crockpot and cook on high for 4-5 hours!
Serves 5
1 1/2 teaspoon of garlic
1/2 teaspoon of lemon pepper salt (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
salt to taste
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can of cream of chicken
Shred the chicken after it's cooked.
Add
1 cup of milk
1 can of corn
2 cups of shredded cheese
2 1/2 cups of cooked rice (we use brown rice)
Stir it all up and let sit in crockpot on warm for 5-10 mins.
Enjoy!

Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Cake (YUM)

Hello Lovelies!
It's August so that means... FALL. Right? Well, I'm excited. I've busted out the pumpkin candles and I have been trying really hard not to go in the garage and get our Halloween box out. UGH! I just love fall. The recipe I am sharing today is a HIT for fall! Derek and I loved it! I actually found it scrolling through Pinterest! I only changed two things while making this delicious cake! Go here to check out the original! Kristyn's Cake Recipe! Go show her some love!

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
MIX THESE IN A BOWL TOEGETHER
Slowly pour in the melted butter.
  • ½ cup butter melted
Pour into a 9x13 greased pan and preheat oven to 350.
MIX THESE TOGETHER IN SEPARATE BOWL
  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 TB flour
  • 1 TB cinnamon
  • (I added a teaspoon of nutmeg)
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
Pour in blotches or clumps all over the top of the other mix that is already in the pan.
Take a butter knife and swirl them together. (don't fully submerge the knife into the batter, only half way)
Bake for about 40 mins.

Now, Kristyn put a glaze all over hers. I opted to skip the glaze. (I personally don't like the taste of powdered sugar glaze)
I did think that adding a cream cheese frosting might be super tasty on this! If you try it, or have any other ways to tweak it, let me know! And don't forget to go show Kristyn some love!
HAPPY FALL YA'LL!
